Our instructors bring years of expertise and our programs reflect careful thought on how to get young folks: Fit to Play™. This fusion of functional fitness and Play will help your child experience themselves with renewed confidence.
So, whether your child is active with team sports or still trying to discover their passion, our expert instruction, supportive and encouraging methodology, and fun and challenging programs will build life-long curiosity and a mindset to playfully push themselves to discover their potential.
Everyday Athlete’s Programs are customized and available on an Individual, Small and Large Group basis. We offers a wide range of skill and performance based programs beginning as young as 9 up to 18 years of age (for younger children see our kids Programs). From Functional Play to Sport Specific Training for Soccer, Basketball, Tennis or Skateboarding, Snowboarding, and Surfing, our programs will build the essential skills needed to perform at a peak level.

Elements of Fitness for kids: Core Conditioning
Young Athletes learn the foundational components of athleticism through a fun, dynamic and motivating training environment. Children between the ages of 8-12 are at a peak stage for nervous system development, this program focuses on developing better movement using Balance, agility, quickness, stability, reactivity and coordination through fun and challenging drills.

Building Teams: One Athlete at a Time
The everyday athlete®‘s team building program focuses on the physical parameters used to make teams excel. Working alongside existing coaching staff, Tomas Anthony (Founder, everyday athlete®) teaches athletes how to move more efficiently and extract more power and speed out of their bodies. The program is customized based upon time frame and schedule. Young Athletes learn the functional elements of fitness for peak performance including: Flexibility, Balance, Core Strength, Strength, Speed, Power.
Sport Specific Speed, Quickness, Agility & Power (Soccer, Basketball, Track, Tennis, Baseball)
Sport Specific conditioning program focuses on improving-specific power movement skills through innovative functional training systems. Athletes are introduced to strength, rotational power, core, speed, agility and quickness. This course will give your young athlete the boost needed to win challenges and elevate their performance on or off the field.

Little Athletes™
Not all kids want to play organized sports. But all children (& adults for that matter) should know what they’re strengths are. Through progressive exploration & playful challenge kids discover their “inner” athlete. A “graduate course” for those kids who’ve already experience liquid fitness, Little Athletes will help your child understand their strengths and use them. Group Sizes are small (3-4 children). Trips to Brooklyn Boulders and other sites.
